    Subway opts for "Mulligan"

    Subway resturants, the international sandwich store chain , has commited to finance "Mulligan" and indie film directed, produced, and co-writen by MInneapolis based filmmaker Tim VandeSteeg.
    Subway co-promoted "Terminator 2" and has done tie-ins with such feature films as "Happy Gilmore" and "Coneheads." But the company had never financed a film untill now.
    "Mulligan" is a comic day-in-the-life of four twentysomethings whose golf course behavior mirrors their behavior in everyday life.
    VandeSteeg founded Vandy Prods, in 1996. Comapany's film slate includes "For Sale," a short film that aired on the independent film channel.
